Welcome to Developmental Wonders™

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Developmental Wonders™ website at developmentalwonders.com, the Developmental Wonders™ newsletter, and any related content, courses, downloads, and digital products created and distributed by Mama Steph (Stephanie Puryear, OTR/L).

By accessing or using any Developmental Wonders™ platform, content, or digital products you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

Developmental Wonders™ is an educational brand created by Stephanie Puryear, OTR/L — a licensed occupational therapist and Developmental Doula™. Our content, courses, downloads, and digital tools are designed to support and educate parents and caregivers of children from newborn through elementary school age.

2. Educational Purpose Only

All content produced by Developmental Wonders™ — including but not limited to the website, newsletter, courses, downloadable resources, digital products, and the Developmental Wonders™ app — is intended for general educational and informational purposes only.

Developmental Wonders™ content does not constitute and is not a substitute for:

Medical advice of any kind
Occupational therapy services
Psychological or mental health services
Diagnoses of any developmental, sensory, or behavioral condition
Clinical evaluation or treatment of any kind

Always seek the guidance of your child's pediatrician, a licensed occupational therapist, or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions or concerns you have regarding your child's development, sensory processing, regulation, or health.

If you believe your child is experiencing a medical or developmental emergency please contact your healthcare provider or emergency services immediately.

3. No Therapist-Client Relationship

Your use of Developmental Wonders™ content, courses, or digital products does not create a therapist-client relationship, a provider-patient relationship, or any other professional clinical relationship between you and Stephanie Puryear, OTR/L or Developmental Wonders™.

Mama Steph is not your child's therapist. The information shared through Developmental Wonders™ platforms is educational content created for a general parent audience — not individualized clinical advice for your specific child.

4. Intellectual Property

All content published through Developmental Wonders™ — including written content, course materials, downloadable resources, visual schedule cards, sensory diet templates, app content, graphics, and brand assets — is the original intellectual property of Stephanie Puryear, OTR/L and is protected by copyright law.

You may not:

Reproduce, copy, or republish any Developmental Wonders™ content without written permission
Sell, license, or distribute any Developmental Wonders™ content to others
Present any Developmental Wonders™ content as your own work
Use Developmental Wonders™ brand assets, name, or trademarks without written permission

You may:

Share links to Developmental Wonders™ content with other parents and caregivers
Use downloaded resources for personal non-commercial use within your own family or caregiving setting
Quote brief passages with full attribution to Mama Steph and Developmental Wonders™

5. Digital Products and Courses

All digital product and course purchases through Developmental Wonders™ are subject to the following terms:

Instant access: Digital downloads and course access are delivered immediately upon purchase confirmation.

No refunds on digital products: Due to the instant-access nature of digital downloads and online courses all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase please contact us at hello@developmentalwonders.com and we will do everything we can to resolve it promptly.

Personal use only: All purchased digital products are licensed for your personal non-commercial use only. They may not be shared, resold, or distributed.

Membership cancellation: If you hold a Developmental Wonders™ Family Membership you may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused membership time.

6. User Conduct

By using any Developmental Wonders™ platform you agree to:

Use all content and resources for lawful personal purposes only
Treat other community members with kindness and respect
Not post or share harmful, offensive, or misleading content in any Developmental Wonders™ community space
Not attempt to access any paid content without proper authorization

7. Third Party Links and Resources

Developmental Wonders™ content may include links to third party websites, books, products, or resources. These links are provided for informational purposes only. Developmental Wonders™ does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party website or resource.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Developmental Wonders™ content and digital products are provided as is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and quality Developmental Wonders™ makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, results, or the applicability of any content to your individual child or family situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law Stephanie Puryear, OTR/L and Developmental Wonders™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Developmental Wonders™ content, digital products, or platforms — including but not limited to decisions made based on educational content provided.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of Developmental Wonders™ platforms following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date of the most recent update will always be noted at the top of this document.

The Developmental Wonders™ Parent Community is a peer support space. Participation in the community does not constitute occupational therapy services, clinical advice, or a therapeutic relationship of any kind. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for clinical concerns about your child.
